About Dragons RFC
Dragons RFC is a professional rugby union club based at Rodney Parade in Newport, Wales. It fields a senior squad, an academy, a women's team and an under-18 squad, and competes in the United Rugby Championship and the EPCR Challenge Cup.
The club sells matchday tickets, season and junior memberships, hospitality packages, sponsorship and partner packages, and kit and merchandise through an online shop. Its community department runs education, STEM, inclusion, health and skills programmes, and its customers and participants include supporters, members, corporate hospitality guests, sponsors and local schools and community groups.
The Dragons were founded in 2003 when the Welsh Rugby Union established four professional regional teams in Wales. The club became Dragons RFC in June 2022, and new owners took over the club and Rodney Parade in 2023 after an agreement with the Welsh Rugby Union. The club currently recruits casual matchday staff for stewarding, bars, ticketing and retail, and advertises full-time roles by email.
Product: Professional rugby matches at Rodney Parade, with tickets, memberships, hospitality, sponsorship and community rugby programmes.
