About Disruptive
Disruptive Technologies makes peel-and-stick wireless sensors that measure temperature, CO2, humidity, desk occupancy, motion, water, doors and windows. Data reaches the cloud through its Cloud Connector gateway and is managed in the Studio web application, with dashboards, alerts, CSV or Excel export, and REST API and webhook integration.
Its customers are businesses in workplace management, cold chain management, facilities management and energy optimization. The company also supplies data to partners that build their own solutions on top of it, and its website cites Planon and Klüh MultiServices among customers. It sells sensors, gateways and cloud software.
The company was started in Norway by a team of semiconductor specialists and is headquartered in Lysaker, Norway. It also lists a U.S. headquarters in Atlanta and other locations in Trondheim and London. The website shows an open engineering role, a fullstack software engineer in Oslo, and says Digi International has announced its intent to acquire the company.
Product: Battery-powered wireless sensors, a Cloud Connector gateway, the Studio web app and a REST API for sensor data.
