About dcarbonize
dcarbonize GmbH provides energy advisory, technical planning and construction supervision for energy renovations of residential buildings. Services include individual renovation roadmaps (iSFP), KfW and BAFA funding applications, planning documents and efficiency-house renovation. The company also offers a prefabricated facade system, Meander, for serial renovation, in which components are produced in a factory to millimetre accuracy and installed on site within days.
Its customers are homeowners who are planning energy renovations. The entry-level energy advisory package (iSFP) is listed from 1,050 €, and the company offers a funding service that covers KfW and BAFA programmes.
The company was founded by Valentin Übelhör, managing director and civil engineer trained at TU München. Its team consists of engineers and architects. It is based in Gauting and serves the Munich metropolitan area. In summer 2025 it completed a first pilot of its facade system on a single-family house during a core renovation. It is currently hiring a project manager for serial renovation in Munich.
