dsb Deutsche Sanierungsberatung

dsb Deutsche Sanierungsberatung offers energy renovation advice for single-family houses in Germany. Its core service is an energy consultation with a renovation roadmap (iSFP), starting from 650 € on the website, and it also runs a funding service that prepares applications to KfW and BAFA. The site includes an online renovation calculator and an electricity tariff option for heat pump owners.

Customers are homeowners of single-family houses who are planning measures such as heat pumps, photovoltaics, windows, facade, roof or cellar ceiling insulation. The company coordinates energy consultants, funding bodies, craftsmen and electricity providers, and it asks homeowners for an own share of the cost of the roadmap. It states that it works with more than 350 vetted contractors from the customer's region and that it has produced more than 11,000 renovation roadmaps and implemented more than 2,000 measures.

The company is based in Berlin, with its office in Berlin-Moabit, and its website lists it as having more than 200 staff. The founders named on the site are Sebastian Schmidt, Niclas Kern and Adam Khenissi; the founding year is not stated. The website lists open positions in energy consulting, sales, customer service, business development and growth, and the company describes its market as the German renovation backlog.
