About Dalmar

Dalmar AS is a Norwegian payment institution that provides international person-to-person money remittance. Senders can pay cash through its agent network, and funds can be credited to a recipient's account where permitted, without the sender needing a bank account.

Its customers are individuals sending money across borders, including families. Dalmar operates through registered agents in Norway, Sweden, Germany, Belgium, Ireland and the United Kingdom. Its rates include a service margin, and fees and exchange rates are presented before the transfer is made.

Dalmar has been licensed as a payment institution since 2 May 2012 and is supervised by Finanstilsynet. The company is headquartered in Oslo, where it also has a customer office. It serves over 40 countries, with receiving corridors including Somalia, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania and Ghana. Payout partners include Dahabshiil, Commercial Bank of Ethiopia and M-PESA Africa.
