About Convion
Convion develops and commercialises solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) systems for distributed power generation and solid oxide electrolysers (SOE) for hydrogen production. Its C60 is a modular combined heat and power generator that can run on natural gas, biogas or hydrogen. The C250e is a modular steam electrolyser that can also operate in reversible (rSOC) mode, switching between hydrogen production and power generation.
The company's systems are aimed at industrial and commercial applications, including on-site power generation and on-site hydrogen production. Multiple C60 units can be installed in parallel for a desired power output and redundancy, and each module can operate independently while being managed remotely.
Convion Ltd. was established in 2012 and is headquartered in Vantaa, Finland. It is part of HD Hydrogen.
Product: C60 modular SOFC combined heat and power generator; C250e modular SOEC steam electrolyser with rSOC operation.
