CMCC Foundation (Euro-Mediterranean Center on Climate Change) is a research center that studies the interaction between climate change and society. Its work combines climate modelling with climate change impact modelling and environmental economics, and includes data, models, foresight and quantitative analysis. Research is organized across three institutes: the Institute for Earth System Predictions (IESP), the Institute for Climate Resilience (ICR) and the European Institute on Economics and the Environment (EIEE). Facilities include an Advanced Digital Innovation Center, an Advanced Training and Education Center and a High Performance Computing Center (HPCC).

Four strategic programs cover the carbon cycle and industrial carbon, socio-economic outcomes in a changing climate, global coastal areas, and the integration of AI and machine learning in the modelling chain. The stated audience includes decision makers, policymakers, scientists and the general public. The foundation also runs fellowship programs.

CMCC was established in 2005 with support from the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research and the Ministry of the Environment, Land and Sea, became fully operational in 2006, and became a foundation on 10 December 2015. Its locations listed on the website are Bologna, Caserta, Lecce, Milano, Sassari, Venezia and Viterbo. Current job postings include a mid-level impact modeller, an institutional relations coordinator, a junior communication and training specialist, and internships.
