About Cdp Technologies

CDP Technologies is an independent software company in Norway that develops CDP Studio, a low-code platform for developing control and automation systems. The platform offers visual programming, GUI design, automatic code generation, simulation and support for industrial protocols such as MQTT, OPC UA, CANopen and Modbus, and runs on Windows or Linux on Arm or x86.

Its customers are developers of control and monitoring systems for machines, factories and vessels. Rolls-Royce Marine selected CDP as its common control platform in 2004. CDP Studio is sold as a per-user subscription in Start-up (€129 per user per month), Standard (€495 per user per month) and Enterprise tiers, with a free non-commercial plan, and the company also sells training and consultant services.

CDP Technologies was founded in 2015 and is headquartered in Ålesund, Norway. The company states that its journey began in 2002 with a control-system framework, that CDP Studio was launched in 2016 after the demerger from ICD Software, and that it has an office in Tallinn, Estonia.
