Its features include a hydraulic gearbox developed with ZF, the patented AXIS Drive hydraulic steering system, an integrated Vessel Control System, contra-rotating propellers and an easy-access service hatch.
The company sells through a network of dealers and distributors and is recruiting distributors for a global network. Its stated focus is commercial operators rather than recreational boating.
Caudwell Marine was founded in 2018 and is headquartered in Stafford, UK, where it also has a Test & Development Centre. The company is announcing the AX300 Diesel ahead of its dealer launch and lists an open customer support coordinator role in Coventry. Its founder is John Caudwell.
