About Carecode

Carecode builds Tunnistaja, a service that identifies phone callers during a call. The caller receives an SMS identification request, follows a link and authenticates with a strong electronic identification means; the verified identity is passed to the customer's back-end system through a RESTful OpenAPI interface. A web application is also offered for organisations that do not integrate.

Customers include contact centres, healthcare providers and pharmacies, banks, insurance companies and public authorities. The company offers trial credentials and sells through a sales team; integration and an identification intermediary service are required.

Carecode was founded in 2014 and is headquartered in Helsinki. Its CEO is Magnus Tötterman and its CTO is Paul Tötterman. The company states that its production and backup environments are located in Finland.
