About carbonify.de

carbonify GmbH applies for, bundles and markets greenhouse gas reduction quotas (THG-Quoten) for electric vehicles, fleets and charging infrastructure, and pays the resulting THG premium to vehicle holders. Private drivers register online by uploading their vehicle registration document; the company then submits the application to the Umweltbundesamt (UBA) for certification.

The company's customers are private electric-car owners and business customers, including fleet operators, charging-infrastructure operators, energy suppliers, insurers, OEMs and biomethane producers. Private holders pay no direct fees; carbonify finances itself by marketing the quotas on the quota market.

carbonify is based in Gräfelfing near Munich, with a company address in Bayern. The website lists activity in Germany and Austria, where it also operates a carbonify.at site. The company states that it has operated more than 100 individual THG premium portals for partners.

Product: Online application and marketing service for THG quota premiums for electric vehicles, fleets and charging infrastructure.
