About Cafea UK
Cafea UK produces instant coffee and related coffee and chocolate products at its factory in Dunstable, Bedfordshire. The range includes granules, freeze-dried, spray-dried and microground instant coffee, roast and ground coffee, coffee beans, Nespresso and Dolce Gusto compatible pods, cappuccino, latte and mocha blends, one-cup bags, cocoa, drinking chocolate and liquid coffee concentrate.
Customers are UK retailers, foodservice operators and food ingredient buyers, for whom the company makes private label coffee and chocolate ranges with selected packaging formats and bespoke labels. It also supplies the Continental Gold brand to businesses that do not have their own coffee brand. The company is certified to BRC Global Standards, requires its suppliers to be SEDEX registered, and many of its products are Fairtrade or RFA certified.
Cafea UK was founded in 1994 and is part of the CAFEA Group, which describes itself as one of the world's biggest instant coffee manufacturers. Sonja Bentley is Managing Director. The company is privately owned and currently advertises a Team Leader – Nights vacancy at its Dunstable site.
