About Buttercups Nursery
Buttercups runs a group of children's day nurseries that combines Montessori and HighScope approaches with Forest School activities and plenty of time outdoors. Each nursery is individually and personally managed.
The nurseries care for children aged 3 months to 5 years, and parents are the customers. The group operates in Acton, Ealing, Chiswick, Brentford, Isleworth, Teddington and Chalfont St Peter in Buckinghamshire.
The business was started in 1980 by owner and managing director Carol Whitehouse as a single nursery, and the registered company, Buttercups Nursery Limited, dates from 2011. A new nursery is under construction in Kew. The group advertises vacancies for nursery teachers, room heads, nursery assistants and apprentices.
Product: Full-day nursery care and early years education for children aged 3 months to 5 years, with Montessori, HighScope, Forest School and specialist clubs.
