About Buchan Offshore Wind

Buchan Offshore Wind is developing a floating offshore wind farm 75 km northeast of Fraserburgh. The project plans up to 70 turbines on floating foundations, using BW Ideol’s Damping Pool technology.

The project is intended to support Scottish manufacturing and suppliers. Its team is progressing planning and consent applications and preparing for further engineering and project development.
