About britishironworkcentre.co.uk
The British Ironwork Centre runs the Ironworks, a metal sculpture park across 70 acres in Shropshire, and makes and sells decorative metalwork. Product categories include garden ornaments and sculptures, fireside items, post boxes, lighting, house signs, homeware and hardware. Its sculptors work full time on site, and the Knife Angel, a national monument built from over 100,000 knives surrendered to UK police forces, is among its projects.
Revenue comes from park entry and tickets, afternoon tea, a cafe, golf buggy hire, and sales of products in the showroom and online. Customers are individual visitors, families, and group and school visits, as well as buyers of its metalwork.
The business started as a metal working family business over 50 years ago and describes itself as three-generational. It is based in Oswestry, Shropshire. It has 8 open roles listed, including warehouse, works management, finance, marketing, SEO and Etsy sales.
Product: Metal sculpture park admission, cafe and afternoon tea, golf buggy hire, and decorative ironwork products sold in the showroom and online.
