BaseCam Electronics develops and sells components for camera stabilization systems (gimbals), including direct-drive brushless motors, controllers and other parts. It also publishes a Serial API library for its gimbal controllers and an open-source Mini Remote project.

Its customers are makers and businesses that build their own gimbals for photo and video cameras; the company accepts bulk orders and cooperation inquiries. In 2025 it announced a partnership with Kebni AB to integrate Kebni's SensAItion IMU into its controller ecosystem over a CAN connection.

The company was founded in 2013 and is based in Rīga, Latvia. It became a member of LETERA, the Latvian Electrical Engineering and Electronics Industry Association, in January 2025. It takes part in a Latvian electrical engineering and electronics cluster project running until 31 December 2029 and has exhibited at trade shows including Electronica 2024 in Munich and Enforce TAC 2026 in Nuremberg.
