About Aurotech Ultrasound

Aurotech develops the MANUS digital ultrasound front-end module, a miniaturized signal-processing platform based on FPGA technology. It is offered as an ODM module with an API, RF data access and the OPTI-TOOL image-tuning software for integration into customers' ultrasound products.

Customers are original equipment manufacturers who add ultrasound capability to their own products; the MANUS technology is primarily aimed at the medical market, and is also used in industrial NDT inspection and agriculture. The company offers its modules on a price basis that depends on quantity, configuration, interface and channel count, and also provides R&D on customer-specified designs.

Aurotech ultrasound AS is registered in Norway with its headquarters in Tydal. The company was founded in 2003 and states that its ODM modules are ISO 13485 compliant. The MANUS product is listed with EN 60601 and EN ISO 13485:2016 regulatory conformity.
