About ATEKO

ATEKO a.s. is an engineering contractor that designs and builds industrial and technological plants on a turnkey basis. Its scope covers studies and project documentation at all stages, technological units, pressure vessels such as heat exchangers, filters, separators, columns and reactors, gas treatment technology, and turbomachinery and cryogenic systems.

The company serves the chemical, machinery, food, refrigeration, energy and environmental protection industries. It also designs and builds experimental and pilot units in cooperation with research institutions.

ATEKO was founded in 1949 as a predecessor organisation, and has operated under the name ATEKO a.s. since 1 January 1994, when it was formed by privatisation of the Research Institute for Food and Refrigeration Technology in Hradec Králové. The company is registered in Hradec Králové, is part of the MEDIS group, and maintains ISO 9001:2016 and ISO 14001:2016 certified management systems. It is currently hiring a mechanical designer.
