About Artemed

Artemed Gruppe operates hospitals of varying specialisation, from highly specialised clinics to basic and standard-care hospitals, along with medical care centres (MVZ) that are often linked to its hospital sites. The ARTEMED AKADEMIE is its in-house training centre for employees of the group and external health professionals, and it also runs apprenticeship programmes.

The group treats patients in its clinics and outpatient centres, and its academy offers continuing education to medical and non-medical health professions. The Artemed Stiftung, founded in 2012, runs healthcare projects in places otherwise without access to care. Artemed also developed the Shanghai Artemed Hospital, opened in 2019, which is operated under licence by the Chinese partners GoBroad Healthcare Group and Silver Mountain Capital.

The group has 19 hospitals and more than 10,000 employees, with headquarters in Upper Bavaria.
