About Antec Biogas

Antec Biogas develops biogas and biofertilizer plants and supplies its own patented Biofilm reactor technology. Its products are upgraded biomethane for transport and industry, biogenic CO2 captured during upgrading, and biofertilizer as a by-product. Feedstocks include livestock manure, fish sludge and fish silage, and sorted organic food waste.

The company works on a Build, Own, Operate model together with local partners. Its customers include transport and industrial users of biomethane, industrial users of CO2 in food and beverage production, greenhouses and cooling, and farmers who use the biofertilizer.

Antec Biogas was founded in 2014 and is headquartered in Oslo. The company describes more than ten years of experience. Two plants are in development: Vest Biogass in Hornindal, with a capacity of 150,000 tonnes of biomass per year and completion listed for Q3 2026, and Malm Biogass in Malm, Trøndelag, with the same stated capacity and completion listed for Q3 2027.

Product: Biogas plants and proprietary Biofilm reactor technology, with upgraded biomethane, biogenic CO2 and biofertilizer as outputs.
