About Altix

Altix designs and manufactures UV imaging systems for electronics production. Its contact printers (Acura and AcuReel series) expose sheet-to-sheet and roll-to-roll materials, and its maskless Direct Imaging systems (Adix family, AltiJet) use UV LED and DMD technology. Applications include soldermask, inner and outer layers, IC substrates, photochemical machining, photovoltaics and touch panels.

Customers are manufacturers of printed circuit boards, flexible circuits, IC substrates and semiconductor packaging. Altix sells equipment and supports customers through its own subsidiaries and a network of partners and distributors that provide local sales and technical support. Recent announcements include a repeat order of an Adix Uno from CIRLY and a first industrial order of the AltiJet platform.

Altix is headquartered in Val-de-Reuil, Normandy, and was founded in 2008; it traces its origins to Automa-Tech, founded in 1991. Since 2024 it has been part of the MGI Group. It has subsidiaries in Kunshan, China and Redmond, Washington, USA, and reports more than 600 systems in operation worldwide.
