About Addcomposites

Addcomposites builds industrial systems for advanced composite manufacturing, including automated fibre placement (AFP) machines, filament winding, robotic large-format extrusion and tape-laying equipment. It also develops planning and simulation software, such as AddPath for path planning, and browser tools for filament winding, laminate design and resin flow.

Customers are organisations producing composite parts in aerospace, drone, eVTOL, hydrogen, defence and space programmes. Systems are offered for purchase or lease, and the company scopes complete production cells through an RFQ process.

The company was founded in 2017 and is headquartered in Espoo, Finland, where it runs an Application Center for testing systems with production materials. Its website states that the founders came from ISRO and Hexcel, and that its installations are spread across four continents.
