About Acturis Group
Acturis Group is a group of insurance software companies, each focused on a particular sector, territory or product. Its Acturis SaaS platform provides e-trading for UK insurance brokers and insurers. ICE-Tech, formed in January 2026 from the Nordic Insurance Software and ICE InsureTech businesses, offers an AI-native SaaS platform covering policy, claims, assistance and analytics. Broker Buddha provides a digital client engagement platform for insurance agencies.
The group serves insurance professionals: brokers, insurers and agencies. It states that its platform is used in over 40 countries and by over 100,000 users, with over 1,400 colleagues. Subsidiaries include Acturis Deutschland, Acturis Canada, Acturis France and Add Value Assurances, a French commercial e-trading business with a network of over 3,000 brokers.
The group traces its history to 2000, starting with UK commercial insurance. Acturis Group Limited is registered in London and was incorporated in 2010. Its acquisitions include NAFI, ASSFINET and Lutronik in Germany, Zycomp Systems and Brovada in Canada, Add Value Assurances in France and Broker Buddha in the US. Astorg acquired a minority shareholding in 2019. Co-founders David McDonald and Theo Duchen are Group co-CEOs.
