About Active Academy

Active Academy runs children's movement programmes under several brands: Djungelgympa (gymnastics for ages 2-6), Funkykidz (dance), Knatteskutt (ages 1-4) and a ball and play programme called Fotbollskul. Classes follow a jungle-adventure theme with obstacle courses, games and gymnastics.

Customers are parents who enrol their children in courses through an online sign-up, and a parent or relative attends each class together with the child. Courses are sold per term, with the fee invoiced during the registration period.

Classes are offered in Stockholm, Göteborg, Malmö/Skåne and several towns around Stockholm, including Huddinge, Nacka, Solna and Södertälje, as well as in Västerås and Trelleborg. The company is recruiting group leaders for its programmes in several cities, and states that all leaders complete its own leader training.
