About Zend Box
Zendbox is a third-party logistics (3PL) provider for eCommerce order fulfilment. Its services cover picking, packing, dispatch, inventory management and customer returns, with orders connected from sales platforms and managed through its Zendportal software. The company also offers custom packaging, B2B fulfilment and Zendtrack shipment tracking notifications, and lists manufacture, packing and fulfilment among its services.
Its customers are online brands selling in the UK and beyond. Revenue comes from fulfilment fees: a single all-in rate per order covers pick, pack, packaging, carriage and insurance, while storage is billed daily per product, goods receiving by the hour, and extras such as inserts, kitting and returns only when used.
Zendbox is headquartered in Tonbridge and operates a 125,000 sq ft site in Paddock Wood, Kent, with stated capacity of 60,000 orders a day and 3.3 million orders in the last 12 months. The founder, James Khoury, established an online business in 2010, and Zendbox was later built to address the fulfilment problems he faced. The company currently has 11 open roles, mostly at Paddock Wood, in warehouse operations, manufacturing, sales, technology and HR.
Product: Outsourced eCommerce 3PL fulfilment (pick, pack, dispatch, returns, inventory management) run through the Zendportal platform, with a 9pm order cut-off.
