About Zapmap
Zapmap is the trading name of Zapmap Limited. Its EV driver app shows public charge points on a map with live availability and pricing, and lets drivers pay for charging at over 80,000 chargers across more than 50 networks through one app. A Premium upgrade adds discounts at qualifying chargers and an ad-free in-car dashboard version.
Its users are over 1 million registered EV drivers. Charge point operators use the platform to publicise locations and availability and to take payments, with credit and RFID offerings. Zapmap is the official data provider to the Department for Transport for public EV charging infrastructure, and it sells Zapmap Insights reports and analysis to energy network operators and the wider EV industry. Other offerings include advertising and map tools for partners, value-added charging services, and Spark APIs for cross-network payments in third-party products.
Zapmap Limited was incorporated in 2006 and is headquartered in Bristol. It received a £9 million Series A round in August 2022, with backing from Good Energy and an investment from Corpay. Its parent organisation is Good Energy Group PLC.
