YourHero/Douleutaras

YourHero operates a home services platform where customers post jobs for home-related work and partner service providers take them on. The website reports 2,500,000+ posted jobs with a stated value of €570M and 4,600+ partners, figures presented on the homepage without further breakdown.

The customers are households that need home services, and the partners are the service providers who fulfil the posted jobs. The website does not describe the pricing or commission model in detail; the company describes its business model as a transformation from 2018 onwards.

The homepage lists a launch year of 2015, a 2020 profitability milestone, a first international market (Cyprus) launched in 2021 and Ireland in 2022, and a stated goal of expanding across Europe in 2023. Presence is listed as Greece, Cyprus and Ireland. The company has an open role for a Senior Backend Engineer in its Product & Tech team, listed in Athens and Volos with remote options.
