About Xyb
XYB builds the AFI Platform, an event-native banking orchestration layer that links a bank's core banking, payment rails and data systems. The platform uses Apache Kafka for event streams and Apache Iceberg for queryable history, and runs as microservices on Kubernetes. It connects to ACH, Fedwire, RTP, FedNow, SWIFT and FX systems.
Its customers are financial institutions, which it serves through the platform and two solutions built on it: Adaptive Digital Banking for retail and small business banking, and the Commercial Treasury Solution for corporate treasury management.
XYB was founded in 2023 and is registered in the United Kingdom as a limited company, with its office in London. Its co-founders are Derek Joyce (CEO) and Jonas Kiiver (CTO). The company holds SOC 2 Type II attestation and ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification.
Product: AFI Platform: an event-native banking orchestrator with Retail and SMB digital banking and Commercial Treasury solutions built on it.
