About Wilderness Hotels

Wilderness Hotels is a family-owned company that operates hotels in Finnish Lapland, located by lakes, rivers and fells. Each stay combines accommodation, dining and arranged Arctic activities, and guests book packages and stays online. The hotel list includes Wilderness Hotel Kieppi, Juutua and Saariselkä, Kelo Lodge and Arctic Log Villas.

Customers are leisure travellers, including international guests, who book holiday packages built around the Northern Lights, winter and summer experiences. The company's revenue comes from its hotel stays, restaurants and activity offerings.

The company's first hotel, Wilderness Hotel Nellim, opened in 2004, and the business began in the early 2000s. It has hotels in Inari and Saariselkä and received the Finnish Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2024. Current job openings are seasonal for the 2026–2027 winter, covering restaurant, reception, kitchen and programme services.
