Wildpark Lüneburger Heide is a wildlife park in the Lüneburg Heath in Germany. The park covers over 60 hectares and is home to about 1,400 animals from 140 species. Its offerings include animal encounters, bird-of-prey shows, a Wildparkschule education programme, the Heide Himmel treetop walk, a restaurant (Grillhus zum Hirsch'n) and overnight stays at the park.
Its customers are families and day visitors, along with overnight guests. Visitors buy admission tickets, combined tickets and gift vouchers, including through an online shop that also sells vouchers for the treetop walk and the Schäferdorf. The park also works with environmental associations on endangered-species and rewilding programmes for lynx, raptors and owls.
The park was founded by Georg-Friedrich von Krogh about 50 years ago. In 1989 the business was taken over by the Tietz family. The park states that it employs about 150 people and is open year-round. Current openings include a head cashier, a chef and a chef de partie.
