About Volumatic

Volumatic designs, manufactures and implements money-counting machines and intelligent cash handling products. The range includes the CounterCache intelligent (CCi) all-in-one cash solution that validates, counts and stores banknotes, CountEasy money-counting scales, CounterCache secure storage devices, BV20 SD and BV30 SD forgery detectors, and secure cash and cash collection trolleys. Its CashView Enterprise cash management software is offered alongside the CCi.

Customers are retail, banking and leisure businesses, and the company names Tesco, Morrisons, The Co-op Food Group, Adidas and Card Factory among its users. Revenue comes from selling hardware and software for cash handling; the company also promotes its warranty and customer service.

The company was founded in 1972 and is headquartered in Coventry, UK, where its head office is located. It also has a US subsidiary, Volumatic USA, with an office in Chicago. The company states that more than 45,000 CCi devices have been installed and that its products are used globally to validate, count and protect over $4 billion per day. Volumatic was taken over in a management buyout from Halma PLC in 2012.
