About Visuray
Visuray develops the VR360, a wireline tool that sends a 360-degree X-ray beam through a well's casing strings to measure density in the annuli, producing density maps and depth logs in real time. It is offered as a well integrity evaluation service. The VR90 series is a downhole X-ray imaging tool for inspecting valves, mandrels, packers, casing and dropped objects.
Customers are oil and gas well operators. The VR360 is applied to new and active wells, plug and abandonment, CO2 storage, and water and geothermal injection monitoring. Project experience cited on the site includes work with Equinor, ExxonMobil and Norsk Hydro.
Visuray AS is registered in Randaberg, Norway, and was founded in 2004. The company states that it runs a QHSE management system and is registered as a supplier in the Achilles Global Energy community, which is compliant with NORSOK and IOGP requirements.
