Viollier provides medical laboratory analyses, clinical result interpretation and digital tools that link prescriptions, lab reports and clinical assessments. Its laboratory centre returns results for more than 1,000 analyses in around 90 minutes, 24 hours a day, and receives samples from anywhere in Switzerland within a few minutes to a maximum of five hours. Named products include v-consult for digital prescriptions and reports, v-box for in-practice laboratory and external diagnostics in one report, the Viollier app with immediate notification of critical results, and My Viollier for patients' laboratory history.
Customers are physicians, medical practices, hospitals and patients. Its interdisciplinary team of consultants provides clinical dialogue and assessment of reports, and offers support on preanalytics, analytics and practice laboratories.
Viollier is a Swiss family business, independently managed since 1953, with no investors. It lists locations in Allschwil, Basel, Bern, Genève, Gisikon, Lausanne, Zürich, Altendorf and Épalinges. Current openings include laboratory technicians, medical specialists in pathology, pulmonology, dermatopathology and hematology, customer service and courier staff, and ICT and SAP roles.
