About Vext

Vext builds Vext 2.0, a countertop-sized indoor garden cabinet that grows greens and herbs without soil. Sensors and automation adjust watering, nutrient delivery, airflow and light, and a companion app sends water refill reminders and sets light schedules. Growing uses a patent-pending fog-based watering system and pre-filled plant pods, which are sold separately along with nutrient refills.

Customers are consumers who want to grow fresh food at home. The cabinet is sold in batches, and plant pods and nutrient refills are sold online.

Vext is registered in Aalto, Finland, and was founded in 2022. The product was developed in Espoo, where the first prototype was built in a 9 m² office. Batch 3 is scheduled to ship in October 2026, and Batch 4 is due to open for sign-ups in November.

Product: Vext 2.0 smart indoor garden cabinet with fog-based growing, sensor automation and app control, plus plant pods and nutrient refills.
