About Veed
VEED is an AI video creation platform. Users generate videos from a text idea, apply their logo, colours, fonts and voice, and edit by text. It also offers subtitles, translation into 100+ languages, and exports formatted for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and LinkedIn. Developer APIs cover image-to-video generation, lip sync, subtitles and background removal.
Customers are marketers, founders, creators and business teams. Revenue comes from subscription plans with monthly or annual AI credit allowances, and from usage-based pricing for its APIs.
VEED was founded on 20 March 2018 by Sabba Keynejad (CEO) and Tim Mamedov (CTO). It is headquartered in London and also hires in Amsterdam and Barcelona, with US sales and Philippines support teams. In 2022 Sequoia invested $35 million, and the company reports a team of over 150 people.
