About Vax

VAX designs and sells floorcare appliances for the home, including carpet washers, corded and cordless vacuum cleaners, spot cleaners, hard floor cleaners and steam cleaners. It also sells cleaning solutions and detergents for use with its machines.

Its customers are household consumers. Products are sold through the VAX website, which offers bundles and promotions, and through stockists, which the company says are located across the globe. VAX is part of Techtronic Industries (TTI), which also owns the MILWAUKEE, HOOVER and DIRT DEVIL brands.

The company traces its origins to 1977, when Droitwich native Alan Brazier created the first domestic carpet-washing vacuum cleaner. The careers page lists offices in Droitwich and Maidenhead in the UK. Its open roles span the UK and several European countries and include warehouse, remote customer service, product design, finance and legal positions.

Product: Carpet washers, corded and cordless vacuum cleaners, spot cleaners, hard floor cleaners, steam cleaners and cleaning solutions for home use.
