About UXA

UXA is a Czech iron foundry that produces grey, ductile and ADI iron castings weighing 0.1 to 200 kg. The site lists in-house pattern-making (wooden, composite and metal patterns), core production, moulding, shot blasting, and quality control in its own sand and metallographic laboratories. It also makes Ewart and pin chains and chain wheels.

Customers are industrial equipment manufacturers, including makers of valves, pumps, paper and textile machinery, conveyors, railway components, brakes, mining machinery and agricultural machinery. The foundry focuses on small and medium series and sells castings, with machining, annealing, painting and hot-dip galvanizing available on request.

The site says the foundry has operated continuously since 1886 and has an annual capacity above 3,000 tonnes. The commercial register gives UXA spol. s r.o. as founded in 1991 with its registered seat in Brno, and the entity is recorded as a subsidiary of a foreign group. The foundry is certified to EN ISO 9001:2015 and holds PED 2014/68/EU material-manufacturer quality certification. The company is currently hiring a moulder-core maker (formíř-jádrař).

Product: Small and medium series iron castings (grey, ductile, ADI) from 0.1 to 200 kg, with patterns, machining, heat treatment and Ewart and pin chains.
