About Utmost
Utmost is a group of life insurance companies that provides insurance-based wealth solutions built on unit-linked policies, designed to help clients manage and preserve their wealth. The group is organised into Wealth Solutions and Utmost Corporate Solutions business lines.
Its customers are financial advisers and brokers, and the clients they serve. The company reports £116bn in assets under administration and 190,000 clients as at 31 December 2025. Utmost was founded in 2013 by Paul Thompson and Ian Maidens and has grown through 13 acquisitions of financial services companies, including Lombard International Assurance S.A., acquired in December 2024 and renamed Utmost Luxembourg S.A.
The head office is in Luxembourg, with further offices in the Isle of Man, Guernsey, Dublin and Navan in Ireland, and registered branches in Brussels and Milan. The company states it has 14 office locations. Open roles are mainly in Luxembourg and Milan, across investment administration, customer operations, compliance, legal, finance and IT.
