United Polymers

United Polymers, s.r.o. makes technical parts from plastics, TPE, rubber and foam using several processes: die-cutting and lamination, plastic injection moulding, rubber compression and injection moulding, and cut seals. It also assembles these parts.

About 90% of production goes to the automotive industry. The website says the parts are used in headlights, air conditioning, fuel systems, pedals, dashboards and other car assemblies. Around 25% of output is exported, mainly to Slovakia, Germany, Hungary, the UK, France, Poland, Mexico, India and China. The company is a member of the Moravian-Silesian automotive cluster and states that its processes are certified to automotive requirements.

The company is based at Tovární 605 in Hranice and operates a 3,700 m² production and storage area, with three-shift production. The website gives 1999 as the founding year, under the earlier name Precision Cut Rubber, s.r.o., and lists 125 employees. The company is currently recruiting machine operators for rubber parts production.
