About Ultromics

Ultromics develops EchoGo AI software that analyses standard echocardiogram studies to flag heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) and screen for cardiac amyloidosis. The EchoGo Heart Failure and EchoGo Amyloidosis models are FDA 510(k) cleared, and findings are returned into PACS and EMR systems, typically within 20 minutes.

Customers are hospitals, health systems and echo labs, with deployments in U.S. hospitals. CMS has assigned CPT Category III code 0932T to EchoGo Heart Failure, which provides a reimbursement pathway for providers. The company also works with life sciences organisations on drug trials and post-market surveillance.

Ultromics was founded in 2017 and spun out from the University of Oxford, where it is headquartered. Its CEO, Dr. Ross Upton, and CMO, Prof. Paul Leeson, are co-founders. The company reports a Series C round of $55M and has partnerships with Mayo Clinic, Pfizer and the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women Venture Fund.
