About Tunturi-Lapin Reitit

Tunturi-Lapin Reitit Oy maintains, repairs and builds the outdoor and leisure route network of Kolari municipality, including ski tracks, snowmobile routes and winter paths. Route maintenance was previously run as a business unit of Tunturi-Lapin Vesi Oy, and the two companies were later split to separate route maintenance and repair construction.

The company is wholly owned by Kolari municipality. It sells an electronic route map for the Ylläs area, which includes route maps with difficulty ratings and real-time positions of grooming machines and winter route conditions. Purchases of the map support route maintenance in Ylläs.

The company was founded on 31 December 2021 and is headquartered in Äkäslompolo. Jan Viilos is its managing director.

Product: Route maintenance, repair and construction for Kolari municipality's outdoor route network, plus an electronic Ylläs route map.
