About Túlavé kino
Túlavé kino is a travelling open-air summer cinema that brings film screenings under the stars to villages, towns and events across Slovakia. The turnkey service covers projection equipment, an inflatable screen, sound, seating and a mobile buffet. Screenings run from April to October, after dark.
Customers include municipalities, towns, companies, schools, festivals and private or community events. The company charges a fee per screening that depends on the day of the week (350 to 450 € before VAT), and the film licence fee is paid on top, varying by distributor. The host provides a level area of about 24 × 14 m and a 220 V power connection.
The company was founded in 2024 and is seated in Zálesie. It operates three depots in Zálesie, Nitrianske Pravno and Košice. It has held 500+ screenings in 300+ municipalities and towns for over 75,000 viewers.
