About trustmark.org.uk
TrustMark is a not-for-profit UK quality scheme for work carried out in and around the home. It operates under a Master Licence Agreement issued by the Government's Department for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade (DBIST). TrustMark licenses and audits more than 40 Scheme Providers, which are accreditation bodies and trade associations, and these providers license their TrustMark Registered Businesses, of which there are over 18,000 across 115 service types.
Homeowners use the TrustMark register to find registered tradespeople for jobs such as plumbing, electrical work, landscape gardening and carpet cleaning. Homeowners can also use a free Homeowner Portal to track a project stage by stage, and TrustMark offers a smart energy service with a digital home energy assessment. Tradespeople apply to join the scheme through their Scheme Provider.
TrustMark was founded in 2005 and has an independent Board, first appointed in 2018, and an independent Financial Protection Panel. It has offices in Basingstoke, England, and is currently recruiting for a CEO and a scheduling administrator.
Product: TrustMark Registered Business scheme and homeowner directory for tradespeople working in and around the home, with a free Homeowner Portal.
