Trainda

Trainda builds a coaching platform for independent coaches. It combines training and meal programmes, client check-ins, progress tracking, messaging and billing in one app, and the coach's clients use a branded client app. Features include 1:1 coaching, group coaching with selectable paths, self-paced courses, a recipe and macro tracker, and a workout builder with a library of over 1,000 videoed exercises. Client activity data can be synced from Apple Health, Android Health Connect and devices such as Apple Watch, Garmin, Polar and Oura.

The customers are independent coaches who sell their programmes directly to their own clients. Trainda charges coaches a subscription, with a free plan with one client slot, a monthly plan at 89 €, a three-month plan at 239 € and an annual plan at 890 €. The company states that it takes 0% of coaches' sales, and payments go to the coach's own Stripe account. Higher plans add the coach's logo and colours in the client app, and the Enterprise plan offers apps published under the coach's own name.

Trainda is based in Espoo, Finland, and was founded in 2017. The website states that the platform has been in use since 2019 and cites more than 400,000 coachings on it. The app menus are available in Finnish, Swedish, English, German and Estonian.
