Totech

Totech (Ab Totech Oy) develops the TCG-SpotPriceTracker, a price-driven energy management system for residential solar hybrid systems. It sets daily control profiles for energy storage, EV chargers and relay outputs from spot price data and price limits the user defines in a web interface. It runs on the Totech Cloud Gateway and lists compatibility with SolaX and Sungrow inverters, batteries and EV chargers.

Residential owners of solar hybrid systems are the main customers. The SpotPriceTracker is sold as a monthly cloud service subscription that starts once the hybrid system is installed. Totech also offers consulting, complete solar hybrid installation packages, and industrial automation services covering programming, planning, electrical drawings, IIoT and machine vision projects.

Totech was established in 2022 in Forsby, Finland, and is registered as Ab Totech Oy. The website states almost 50 years of combined experience in industrial automation and projects in over 30 countries. The EV charger implementation was partially funded by the EU project EURA2021.
