About Total Security
Total Security develops consumer cybersecurity software under the TotalAV brand, together with Total Password, Total Adblock, Total Drive, Total Cleaner, Total WebShield and Total VPN. TotalAV provides real-time antivirus protection, browsing security against malicious and phishing sites, and removal of web trackers.
Its products are sold to individual users as an all-in-one subscription, with annual plans that renew automatically at the regular rate unless disabled. The pricing page lists Total AV Plus at €29. The products are available across Windows, Mac, Android and iOS.
Total Security Limited is headquartered in Fareham, United Kingdom, and was founded in 2016, when TotalAV for Windows launched as its flagship product. The company reports a team of over 75 people and says its product has passed 35 malware tests with independent testing bodies. In 2018 its websites and applications were translated into 12 languages. In 2022 it completed a merger with System1 and a listing on the NYSE under the symbol SST.
