About tollwood.de

Tollwood GmbH organises the Tollwood festivals in Munich: a summer festival at Olympiapark Süd and a winter festival at Theresienwiese. The programme includes concerts, theatre, walk acts, performances, sculpture and art, climate and environmental projects, and the "Markt der Ideen" with craft stalls and organic food from around the world.

Most events at each festival are free of charge, and admission to the festival grounds is free. The company runs a commercial branch, in which rented and leased market stalls help finance the cultural events and ecological projects, and it is also supported by sponsors. Its audience is the general public visiting the festivals.

The first Tollwood festival took place in summer 1988 at Olympiapark Süd, and the winter festival was launched in 1992. The company is currently recruiting a full-time, permanent deputy head of technical management for the festivals.

Product: Cultural and environmental festivals in Munich, with a summer edition at Olympiapark Süd and a winter edition at Theresienwiese
