About tisso.de
TISSO Naturprodukte develops and manufactures natural dietary supplements. Its best-known product is Pro EM san, a fermented herbal and plant extract with 31 bacterial cultures. The range covers around 60 formulations that combine probiotics, plant extracts, minerals, amino and fatty acids, and vitamins, produced in Wenden, Germany.
Customers are consumers who buy the supplements through the company's online shop, including themed product packages sold at a bundle price compared with single purchases. The products are distributed internationally. The company also works with a scientific advisory board and with laboratories and research institutes.
TISSO was founded in 1999 by the naturopath Albert Hesse, who developed Pro EM san after failing to find a probiotic with a similar range of bacterial strains. The company operates from Wenden, where development, production, logistics and sales are located. Current job postings include apprenticeships, international B2B sales and logistics roles in Wenden and Olpe.
