About Timbeter
Timbeter makes a mobile and cloud platform that measures timber from smartphone or tablet photos. Its AI detects logs in piles, trucks and containers and calculates diameters, volumes and log counts, with results synced to a web dashboard.
Its customers include forestry organisations, forest owners, state forests, timber transporters, container shipping and wood pole producers. The website states it has clients in 50 countries and that the first 10 measurements are free, with a paid tier implied by the free trial. It offers a Web API for integration with accounting and ERP systems such as SAP, NetSuite and 1C.
The company was founded in Tallinn, Estonia, in 2013 (registered 2013-12-03) and its website describes locations worldwide. It reports more than 4.8 million measurements made.
Product: Mobile app and cloud dashboard for AI-based timber measurement (piles, trucks, containers, lumber) with Web API integration.
