Timber

AS Timber runs Timber.ee, an online auction platform for selling forest cutting rights, forest properties and agricultural land in Estonia. For a sale, the company estimates the forest's value from the available data, prepares the documents and signs an auction agreement with the forest owner, then publishes the auction and notifies interested parties. Where a cutting right is sold, Timber is responsible for the correctness of the logging work; property sales are completed as notarised transactions.

Customers are forest owners who sell timber rights or land, and buyers who bid at the auctions. The company states that about 200 vetted forestry companies interested in buying cutting rights and 1000 buyers of forest and field properties follow its auction environment. The company describes its services as consultation and auction organisation for forest owners.

AS Timber is registered in Tallinn, Estonia, and was founded in 2014. Its website is published in Estonian.
